Longorithmics — LSEng Longevity Intelligence Platform
LSEng — Longevity Intelligence Platform

Longevity risk reflects measurable changes in biological and functional health that often emerge years before clinical events or insurance claims.

LSEng generates proprietary health-risk data and converts it into standardised resilience ratings and longevity intelligence — ahead of the point where risk finally shows up in clinical, insurance and actuarial records.

Why now ?

The world is managing longevity risk with data that is often reactive rather than proactive.

Chronic, lifestyle-driven risk often accumulates over decades before it becomes visible in the systems used to assess, price, and manage health risk. By the time these risks are formally documented, many of the most effective and cost-efficient opportunities for prevention and risk reduction have already been missed.

The upstream data gap

Health and risk systems have limited integrated, reliable data on socio-economic, lifestyle and behavioural determinants of functional health before clinical events and insurance claims.

The ratings gap

There is no widely adopted multidomain rating framework that converts determinants and functional health data into comparable ratings of health and longevity risk and resilience.

The root-cause gap

There is limited clinical infrastructure to identify and act on these determinants of functional health decline before they contribute to non-communicable disease and clinical events.

The platform

One governed cohort, measured continuously, rated on a common scale.

LSEng closes the gap with a single pipeline: acquires socio-economic, lifestyle, behavioural and functional-health data under consent, transforms it into standardised ratings, anchors every step in verifiable, regulatory-grade governance and enriches longitudinally.

Acquisition

User & Clinical Apps

A dedicated User App and independently operated Clinical App generate governed socio-economic, lifestyle, behavioural and functional-health data. Health-data acquisition follows a WHO STEPS-aligned methodology designed for scalable population-health surveillance.

Ratings

LSEng Analytics

Upstream data becomes four longitudinal ratings on a common AAA–D scale: a shared language for risk and resilience.

SRR Socio-economic Resilience Rating LRR Lifestyle Resilience Rating HRR Health Resilience Rating ALR Actuarial Longevity Rating
Response

Intervention & remeasurement

Ratings inform evidence-based lifestyle-medicine interventions aligned with ACLM, IBLM, BSLM and LMGA guidance, while longitudinal remeasurement tracks change over time.

Every rating is supported by verifiable, tamper-evident data provenance and governed auditability.
Verified origin → Governed provenance → Auditable intelligence
Who it's for

Built for the institutions that price, insure and manage longevity risk.

LSEng intelligence is designed to sit inside existing institutional workflows — underwriting, capital allocation, benefits design and public health planning — not replace them.

Pensions & retirement funds

Translate longitudinal health and longevity data into intelligence on mortality, healthspan and future pension obligations, helping members improve long-term health and retirement resilience while enabling pension institutions to strengthen longevity-risk management, liability forecasting and member planning.

Health

Private healthcare

Turn longitudinal health and functional-health data into intelligence that supports earlier risk identification, prevention and targeted care pathways, giving individuals greater visibility of their health trajectories while helping healthcare providers improve population-health management, resource utilisation and evaluation of preventative interventions.

Public health & government

Transform longitudinal population data into intelligence on health risk, NCD burden, inequalities and health trends, supporting earlier, targeted prevention while helping public-health institutions strengthen surveillance, inform policy, prioritise interventions and allocate healthcare resources more effectively.

Research & Advisory

Research & academia

Draw on longitudinal health and longevity cohort evidence to study health risk, NCD burden, inequalities and health trends, helping researchers evaluate preventative interventions, validate models and research findings, and generate evidence on health and social outcomes.

Actuarial & advisory

Translate governed health and longevity data into derived intelligence on mortality, disability, claims risk and pension obligations, enabling actuarial, advisory and data teams to strengthen risk modelling, liability forecasting and purpose-specific institutional analysis.

Privacy & Data Protection Statement

This statement provides institutional stakeholders with an overview of Longorithmics' privacy, data-protection and governance approach, including the complementary roles of the User App and Clinical App. It is not a substitute for the application-specific privacy notices provided to Users/data subjects.

01

Our approach to privacy

Longorithmics recognises that health, lifestyle, socio-economic, behavioural and related personal information requires a high standard of privacy, security and governance. Privacy, data protection, security and auditability are embedded within the LSEng architecture and its user-facing applications.

02

Privacy and data-protection framework

The LSEng compliance architecture is designed to support applicable privacy and data-protection requirements in jurisdictions in which Longorithmics operates or deploys its services, including, where applicable, POPIA in South Africa, the EU GDPR, and the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

The framework incorporates lawful and transparent processing, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, appropriate retention, security, accountability and privacy by design.

03

Application data acquisition

LSEng uses distinct application workflows for different categories and sources of User information. The Clinical App supports independently acquired biometric and functional-health information through an authorised healthcare-professional workflow, while the User App enables Users to provide socio-economic, lifestyle and behavioural information. These applications operate under applicable privacy, consent, access-control and governance requirements.

04

Health and other sensitive information

Longorithmics recognises that health and biometric-related information can constitute sensitive or special-category personal information requiring enhanced safeguards. LSEng is designed to support consent management where applicable, role-based access, confidentiality, security controls, auditability and appropriate separation of identifiable operational information from anonymised downstream cohort intelligence.

05

Application-specific privacy policies

The Clinical App and User App each have a dedicated privacy policy reflecting their different users, data-acquisition roles and processing activities. Application users should refer to the relevant application-specific policy for detailed information concerning collection, purposes, lawful bases, sharing, retention, rights, international processing, security and applicable choices.

06

Privacy by design and data governance

Privacy and data governance form part of the LSEng system architecture rather than being treated solely as external compliance requirements. Depending on the relevant activity, controls may include purpose segmentation, data minimisation, consent records, role-based access, encryption, pseudonymisation, provenance and audit records, retention controls, security monitoring and controlled processing by authorised service providers.

07

Institutional and cohort intelligence

Longorithmics distinguishes between identifiable personal information processed for authorised operational purposes and anonymised cohort intelligence generated for approved institutional, analytical, statistical or research purposes.

The LSEng architecture is designed so that cohort data released for institutional use is anonymised before it enters the institutional intelligence environment. Once the defined anonymisation process has been completed, the resulting cohort data does not retain personal identifiers or a retained mechanism within LSEng by which the anonymisation can be reversed and the cohort data reconnected to an identifiable individual.

This separation applies to cohort intelligence derived from authorised data sources, including, where relevant, independently acquired functional-health data and user-provided socio-economic, lifestyle and behavioural data.
This does not mean that every institutional interaction with LSEng is anonymous. A separately authorised or consented deployment may permit defined individual-level information or outputs to be processed or disclosed where lawful and appropriate. Such processing is distinct from the anonymised cohort-intelligence layer.

08

Individual rights and transparency

Longorithmics' privacy architecture is designed to support applicable data-subject rights and transparency requirements, which may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent and safeguards relating to qualifying automated processing. The relevant application Privacy Policy provides the detailed procedures.

09

Service providers and international processing

Where third-party service providers support Longorithmics services, appropriate contractual, confidentiality, security and processing controls are intended to govern access. Cross-border processing requires consideration of the applicable transfer basis and safeguards.

10

Security

LSEng is designed to incorporate technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information processed, potentially including access controls, authentication, encryption, audit logging, secure development, vulnerability management, incident management and related controls. Information security is treated as an ongoing risk-management and governance process.

11

Relationship to the application Privacy Policies

This institutional statement is not the operative privacy notice governing an individual's use of User App or Clinical App.
